Well, I have finally relented and decided to start a blog to keep you all updated on the latest and greatest with our family (well, mainly Krysten). My goal will be to update the blog at least weekly with new picutes and information, so be sure to check in periodically.

It's hard to beleive that Krysten is already 8 weeks old. She has changed so much from the day she was born. Here is an 8-week photo of her:

Krysten's development is well under way ... she can now focus on things and smile in response to our smile. She recongnizes people that she knows and loves to watch the animated attachment on her bouncy seat (the monkey is her favorite). She has definitely found her voice, although she has not taken to babbling yet, but will utter a few sounds every now and then and will even occassionally let out a laugh. Here is a short vidoe that kind of shows what I am talking about.

Last Sunday, Krysten enjoyed her first bath without the added bounus of screaming.

We had a big day last Friday when Mommy took Krysten to her work for a visit. Here she is with one of our residents and also meeting a new friend, Jayden

All in all, a hectic week ended on a good note ...
